Our Commitment

Tortillería Restaurant El Progreso wants everyone to be able to find our hours, read our menus, and order from us — including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or use a keyboard, screen reader, magnifier or voice control. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time project.

The Standard We Follow

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What We Have Done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
• Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them.
• Images have text descriptions, and our menus are published as text rather than only as pictures.
• Videos have captions and a written description of what they show.
• Text and controls meet WCAG color-contrast requirements.
• Pages can be zoomed in and still work on screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
• Animations are turned off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
• The whole site is available in English and Spanish.
• Links that open a new tab say so.

We test the site with automated accessibility checks and by hand with a keyboard before changes go live.

Known Limitations

Some features come from other companies, and we cannot fully control how accessible they are:

• Online ordering is provided by Toast on its own website. If it does not work for you, call us at +1 407 895 7555 — we will gladly take your order by phone.
• Maps are embedded from Google Maps. Our full address is always written out on the same page as text.
• Social media links go to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google, which have their own accessibility policies.
